Not everybody has been in the graphics industry for over 40 years — you may have some questions!
What happened to your letterpress service?
It's still in operation, just under a different name: Best Impression Artisanal Printing. After conferring with some savvy marketing folks, it was decided that we could become better known to the very folks who need our services by changing the name to something that was more appropriate to the type of service that aspect of our business provides. "Rauhaus" speaks to our austere, grid-oriented approach to graphic design; "Best Impression" expresses the opinion that no other printing method reflects the unique character of special occasions, high-quality items, or exceptional service like letterpress does.
Can I use photos that I copy from the internet in my publication?
No! And yes!
That is, no, you can't go to just any website, copy a photo, and use it – anywhere! Photographs are protected by intellectual property laws, and using other peoples photos is considered copyright infringement.
That said, if the photo is on YOUR website, and YOU took the photo, then YES it can be used in your publication – assuming it is of sufficient scale and resolution for print.
Do you accept credit cards?
Absolutely! We accept credit card payments through PayPal. Don't worry, you don't need a PayPal account to submit payment this way.
